There are tractors, carts, and people everywhere you look. It can be a real struggle just to get a vehicle through the gates some mornings. Our office is a simple place, mostly just a desk covered in ledgers and a few chairs for visitors. We’ve been operating from this spot for a long time now. We deal with various trading activities that follow the rhythm of the local market. It’s a lot of back-and-forth on the phone and checking the quality of the goods coming in. The floor is usually covered in dust from the sacks, and there’s never a quiet moment until late in the evening. We know all the other traders nearby, and we often help each other out when things get too hectic. My father started this business years ago, and not much has changed in how we do things. We don't have a polished corporate image or any of that. We just focus on being fair and getting the work done. Sometimes we stay late to finish the accounts while the rest of the market shuts down.
