Shri Kalika Singh Intarmideet College

Shri Kalika Singh Intarmideet College sits right there on the Pratapgarh Raebareli Road in Mohanganj. If you are driving down that way toward Pure Khusai, you will see us. We have been here for a while now, just doing the work of teaching the kids from around this part of Uttar Pradesh. It is not a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a solid building where students come every morning to get through their intermediate studies. The road outside stays pretty busy with trucks and buses going between Pratapgarh and Raebareli, so there is always some noise and dust. We have rooms for different classes and the teachers just get on with it. Most of the students come from the nearby villages and they walk or come on cycles. We don’t have a big office or a lobby with a receptionist. Usually, if someone needs something, they just find a staff member in the hallway or the main office room. The 230144 area is mostly farmland around the college, so it feels quite open once you step inside the gates. It is just a regular school life here. We open up early, the bell rings, and the day starts with whatever needs to be taught. No one here spends much time on fancy brochures. We just make sure the rooms are ready and the kids have a place to sit and learn their subjects before they go home in the afternoon.
