Ram Samujh Degree College

This college is situated in Fattupur Bhagwanpur, which is a bit of a trek from the main Jaunpur city. It’s a rural setting in Uttar Pradesh, so things move at a slower pace here. The building is quite large with long corridors and high ceilings. We have several classrooms for the different degree programs. The furniture is mostly heavy iron and wood, built to last. It can get quite dusty because of the open fields around us. We have a small library where the students sit and read during their free periods. The office staff handles everything manually, so there are always ledgers open on the tables. Most of our students come from the surrounding villages, often traveling by bus or shared autos. We have a big open space in the middle of the campus where people gather between lectures. It isn’t a high-tech place, but we have the basic equipment needed for the science labs. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but the structure is strong. During the exam season, the whole place gets very quiet and serious. We don't have a canteen, so most students bring their own food from home. It’s a basic, functional college for the local youth who want to stay close to home. The teachers walk in from the nearby road after getting off the local transport. It works for the community here and everyone knows the schedule.
