We run the Vrs & Yrn College down on Vodarevu Road in Chirala. It is a pretty well-known spot around this part of Andhra Pradesh. The college has been standing here for quite some time, and the building shows its age a bit, but it works for us. Chirala is a quiet place mostly, and being on Vodarevu Road gives us enough space to breathe. I handle a lot of the day-to-day stuff, from making sure the benches are in the right place to checking if the lights are working in the halls. We have students coming from all over the nearby villages and towns. It’s not a high-tech campus with robots or anything. It is just a solid place for people to come and get their degrees. We have different departments and the professors are usually around their offices if anyone needs them. I spend a lot of my time dealing with the paperwork that comes with running a college. It gets busy during admission time, but the rest of the year it’s a steady pace. Sometimes the heat in Andhra can be tough, but we have fans and the big trees outside help keep things a bit cooler. We don’t really do much in the way of marketing. The local families just know us. It is a straightforward place for education without any of the extra fluff you see elsewhere.
