Grr & Tpr Digree College

Grr & Tpr Digree College is right at the Kandulapuram Centre in Markapur. It’s a busy spot in this part of Prakasam. Being a degree college, we see a lot of young adults coming in from the nearby villages and towns. The building is functional. We have rooms for different subjects like commerce and arts. It’s not a quiet place, especially when classes change over. You’ll see students standing around the entrance talking between their sessions. We have a small office where the administrative stuff happens. It’s usually piled with files and registers. The weather gets pretty hot here in Markapur, so the ceiling fans are always running at full speed in the rooms. We don’t have a big fancy gate, just the entrance off the main road. Teachers here have been around for a long time. They know most of the families around here. We just try to make sure the students attend their lectures and get their work done. It’s a practical environment. No one is wearing suits or anything. It’s just regular clothes and getting on with the day. Sometimes we have some sports on the ground nearby if it’s not too hot outside. It’s just a local college helping people get their degrees so they can find some work. That’s the long and short of it for us. We just keep the doors open and the classes running.
