Kamachi Steels Ltd.

Kamachi Steels Ltd. is situated at No: B-4 in the Sipcot Industrial Complex over in Gummidipoondi. Being in an industrial complex means things are always moving, with trucks coming in and out at all hours. Our building is large and mostly filled with equipment and raw materials. It’s not the kind of place you’d visit for a casual chat, but we are always here working. Gummidipoondi is a bit of a drive from the city, so most of us live nearby or commute together. We don't have a fancy lobby with a fountain or anything like that. It's an industrial site, so expect some dust and a lot of noise from the machines. We focus on getting the orders right and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly. The office is just a small room off to the side where we keep the paperwork. We aren't interested in sounding like a big multinational corporation even though we have "Ltd." in our name. We are just a group of people who know how to handle steel and manage a production schedule. It’s hard work and the days are long, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing the finished product leave the gate. We’ve been part of the Sipcot community for a long time and we know our neighbors in the other units pretty well. It’s just how we earn our living.
