Ladco Galvanizers Pvt. Ltd. is located out in Gummudipoondi at the Sipcot Industrial Estate. Our specific spot is R17. If you’ve ever been to Sipcot, you know it’s a massive area filled with all kinds of factories. We specialize in galvanizing, which is a pretty messy and hot process. We have large tanks and lots of metal structures coming in and out. It’s not the kind of place you’d visit for a casual chat, as it’s quite industrial and we’re always moving heavy loads with the cranes. The air has that distinct smell of chemicals and heat. We have a crew that’s been doing this for a long time, so they know the routine well. The estate is quite far from the main city, but it's where all the big work happens. We don't really have a glossy brochure or a sales team. Most of our work comes from other companies in the industrial sector who need their steel protected. It’s a tough environment, especially in the summer months when the factory floor gets really warm. We just focus on getting the dipping right and keeping the schedule moving. The trucks are always lined up outside waiting to load or unload. It’s a busy, noisy, and practical place to be. We don't do much in the way of talking, we just focus on the metal and the process until the workday is finally over.
