Panto Exports

Being at No. 1 Harbour Street puts us right in the middle of things in Veerampattinam. We are located near the Govt High School, so we hear the kids during their breaks while we are working on the export files. Panto Exports has been in this spot for a while. It’s a practical location because we are close to the water and the main roads. Shipping items out is a daily task for us. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the crates. The office is pretty basic, just some chairs and computers and a lot of paper. Sometimes the sea breeze comes through the door if we leave it open. It can get dusty with the trucks passing by. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just focus on getting the exports ready for the next transport. Dealing with logistics in Veerampattinam means you have to be ready for anything. Schedules change and sometimes the weather doesn't help. But we just keep at it. It’s a local business through and through. We know the neighbors and the people at the school. It’s a small community and we are just another part of it. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. It's just us handling the day-to-day stuff at the harbour. It works for what we need to do, and we’ve been at it long enough to know the routine. We just show up and get it done.
