J M S Exports Pondicherry is located over at Door No. 8 on the First Main Road. We’re in the Kumaran Nagar Extension part of Laws Pet, which is a decent area to work from. It's mostly quiet around here compared to the main city center. We spend our days dealing with export stuff, mainly focusing on getting goods where they need to go without too much trouble. The office is tucked away, so if you aren't looking for us, you might miss the turn. We started small and stayed that way because it’s easier to manage things ourselves. Sometimes the internet acts up when we're trying to send emails, but we manage. Everyone knows everyone on this street. We have a small crew and we’ve been working together for a long time. It’s not a fancy operation with suits or anything like that. Just regular clothes and a lot of work to do. We keep the paperwork in filing cabinets because it feels safer than just having everything on a computer. Usually, we have lunch together in the back room. Laws Pet is a good spot for us because the transport trucks can get in and out fairly easily. We don't do much talking, just focus on the orders that come in. It keeps us occupied from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we have to wait for the local courier to show up, which can take forever. We just keep working.
