Alagu Export

Our place is at No. 52 Theppakulam Street, and it’s a busy little spot. Alagu Export has been running from this address for some time now. The street is narrow, so when we have shipments coming in, everyone has to move their bikes and carts out of the way. It’s a bit of a daily ritual. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just open the doors in the morning and start moving the stock. The office is just a small corner with a desk that’s seen a lot of use. We do all our own packing and labeling right here. Theppakulam Street has a lot of character, and we like being part of the local scene. It’s not always easy work, especially when the weather is humid and the boxes feel twice as heavy. We don't use much technology beyond what's absolutely necessary to track the shipments. Mostly it’s just hard work and keeping a close eye on the inventory. Sometimes we make mistakes with the handwriting on the forms, but we catch them before anything leaves the building. We’re just regular people trying to make a living by sending goods where they need to go. There’s no secret to it, just staying busy and making sure nothing gets left behind on the warehouse floor. We’ve seen a lot of neighbors come and go, but we stay put at No. 52. It is what it is.
