Appu Exports

We’ve been here at Puthuthottam for a while now. Most people around Kambalapatti Village know where we are, right near the Samathur post office area. It’s a quiet spot, mostly fields and trees around, which is nice when the sun gets really hot in the afternoons. My name is Appu and I run things here with a small group of guys from the village. We handle exports, mostly just getting stuff packed up and sent out to wherever it needs to go. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking boxes, but we stay busy enough. Some days the truck shows up late and we’re still here at the 2/155-1 address long after the sun goes down, just making sure everything is loaded right. We don’t have a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we can get the work done. People drop by sometimes just to chat or ask about the shipments. We try to keep things simple and honest. There’s always something to do, whether it’s fixing a broken pallet or talking to the drivers. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our life here in Samathur. We’ve learned a lot over the years about how to move goods without too much fuss. Every morning starts with tea and a look at the schedule. Then we just get to it. That’s how we’ve always done it at Appu Exports. We like it this way.
