The Spice Fusion

We are set up right across from the Dainik Bhaskar office in Sri Krishna Puri. If you are familiar with Boring Canal Road in Patna, then you probably know this neighborhood. It is usually quite busy with cars and people walking past all day long. We are right in the middle of all that noise. The kitchen is where most of the action happens. It gets very hot and loud in there, especially when the lunch rush starts. We are not a fancy five-star restaurant or anything like that. We just have our tables and chairs and a menu that we try to keep consistent for the regulars who come in. The smells from the spices usually drift right out onto the street. Some days are definitely better than others. Sometimes we run out of a certain ingredient or the delivery truck is late, and we just have to make do with what we have. The staff is a small group of people who have worked together for a long time. We have our small arguments now and then, but we always get the food out to the tables eventually. We do not use any big marketing agencies to get the word out. We just put our sign outside and hope for the best. The floor is a bit scuffed from all the people coming through, but we clean it every night.
