Our spot is right on the Alamganj Main Road, which stays pretty crowded most of the time. If you’re looking for us, we are near the Ashok Baniya Gali, which is a good landmark because everyone in this part of Patna knows it. The street noise is constant, with rickshaws and motorbikes zooming past the front door from morning until late evening. It is a bit chaotic out there, but inside we just focus on getting the day's tasks done. Being in this part of Bihar means we are right in the thick of things. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some sturdy furniture and old windows that let in the dust if we aren't careful. We’ve got a routine here that works for us. Usually, the morning starts with a quick cleanup and then the phone starts ringing. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. People just drop by and we talk to them across the desk. Sometimes it gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but the cooler helps a little. We have been here for a while now, and we know most of the shopkeepers on this stretch of the road. It’s a busy life in Patna, and we are just one small part of the Tata Steel network making sure things move along. There is always something to do, but we take it one day at a time. It's noisy and dusty, but it is home.
