Exhibition Road is always a mess with traffic, and that’s where you’ll find Slsk Steels. We are located right near Kumhar Gate. It's a loud area, mostly because of all the metal moving around and the trucks trying to navigate the tight spots. Our place isn't anything special to look at. It’s mostly just stacks of steel and the sound of machines or workers shouting to be heard over the noise. We deal with all kinds of steel supplies for local builders and contractors who are putting up houses or shops nearby. It gets hot in the summer, especially with all that metal sitting around, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We don't have a big sales team or a website that looks professional. Usually, people just call us or walk in because they’re doing a job in the area and need something quickly. Sometimes the inventory is a bit messy, but we know where everything is. The guys working here have tough hands and don't talk much unless it's about the work. We've seen this neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the demand for good steel stays about the same. It’s a bit of a grind, day in and day out, but it feels good to see the stuff we sell being used to build the city. We just stay focused on the daily tasks and try to get the metal where it needs to go without too much fuss.
