Shankar Mills

We have been running things here at Shankar Mills for a good while now. Our place is over at No: 2157 in the Sipahi Bhagat Palace area. If you know where the Sadar Hospital is in Marshal Bazar, we are right nearby. Being in Danapur Cantt means it gets busy with people moving around all day. It is not a fancy setup, just a practical space where we get the work done. Most mornings start early because there is always something that needs fixing or a stack of bags to move. The palace building has its quirks, but it works for what we do. You will often see us standing outside the door if there is a break in the work. We keep the machines running and try to make sure everything is sorted out before the sun goes down. People around here know us as the local spot near the hospital. We don’t have a big front office or a receptionist. Usually, it is just one of us answering the phone while trying to handle a delivery at the same time. Sometimes the noise from the street makes it hard to hear, but we manage. It is just a regular mill doing regular work every day of the week. We have been in this spot so long that the walls are a bit scuffed, but that is just how it is when you are actually working.
