Santosh Cement

We are located over at Chaitanya Compound in Danapur. It’s a fairly easy spot to get to once you’re in this part of the city. Dealing with cement means things are always a bit dusty around here, no matter how much we sweep. We have the bags stacked up in the warehouse area, and there’s usually a truck or two backed up to the doors for loading. Danapur is a busy place, and our compound stays active throughout the day. We aren't a big corporation with shiny floors and fancy lights; it's more of a boots-on-the-ground kind of operation for us. You’ll find us mostly handling orders and making sure the cement bags are stored properly so they stay dry and don't spoil. Rain is always a bit of a worry, so we spend time checking the roof and the tarps when the clouds roll in. The locals know where Chaitanya Compound is, so we get people stopping by quite a bit to ask questions. It’s a simple setup we have. We have a desk for the ledger and some chairs that have definitely seen better days. The work is heavy and repetitive, but it’s what we know how to do. We’ve been in this part of Danapur for a while, seeing the new buildings go up all around us. It’s interesting to think that the cement leaving our doors ends up in the walls of the houses nearby. We just stay busy with the daily grind.
