Our office here in Patna is tucked away in New Bangali Tola. We are right near Indira Nagar Road Number 1, not too far from the Jakkanpur police station. It’s a bit of a residential feel around here even though we are doing business. Being close to the G.P.O. is handy for all the mail we have to send and receive for Kalyanpur Cements Limited. Patna is a crowded city, so finding us for the first time might take a minute if you aren't used to these narrow lanes. We’ve got a small team here. We mostly handle the local distribution and keep track of who needs what for their house renovations or bigger projects in the city. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and writing down numbers. We don't have those fancy coffee machines or lounge areas you see in movies. We just have desks and a lot of files. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several deliveries arrive at once, but we figure it out. The neighborhood is okay, there are plenty of little shops nearby if we need a quick snack. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and most of the locals know who we are. It’s just a regular job in a regular part of town. We try to be helpful when someone comes in asking about prices or availability. No big secrets, just cement and a lot of paperwork.
