Rajdhani Railway Online Ticket Counter

Our counter is right at Dak Bangla Chauraha. If you know Patna, you know how busy that intersection is. There’s always noise from the horns and people rushing around. We’ve been sitting in this spot for quite a while now. It’s a small place, just enough room for the computers and a place for people to stand while they wait for their tickets. People come in all day asking about train timings or trying to find a seat on a train that’s already full. It can be a bit frustrating for them, and for us too, when the systems are slow or the tickets are all gone. We don't have a fancy waiting area or air conditioning that works perfectly all the time. It’s just a practical shop where people come to get their travel sorted out. We handle the online bookings so they don't have to go all the way to the main station and stand in those long lines. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to ask people to wait a few minutes. We don't do any big promotions. Everyone around the Chauraha knows where we are. We just sit here, fill out the forms, and print the tickets. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we meet all kinds of people going all over the country. It’s just a small part of the daily bustle in this part of town. We just keep the door open and see who comes by next. It gets the job done.
