R K Provision

We are located at Bakerganj Gola, right on the Ashok Rajpath Road in Patna. R K Provision has been a fixture here for many years. This part of Patna is always moving, and we are right in the middle of that energy. The shop is small, but we pack a lot into it. We focus on provision items, so it is mostly the daily essentials people need for their kitchens and homes. We spend our mornings receiving deliveries and checking the quality of the grains and pulses that come in. It’s important that what we sell is good enough for our own families to eat too. The street outside is usually noisy with rickshaws and cars, but inside it’s just the sound of us weighing out portions. We don't use much technology; we mostly rely on our memory and a basic calculator. Some of our customers have been coming to us since they were children and now they bring their own kids. It’s nice to see the generations pass through the door. We aren't trying to be a big supermarket. We just want to be the place where you can get what you need without any fuss. The shelves are wooden and a bit old, and the floor has seen better days, but it’s our space. We work long hours, but seeing the same friendly faces makes it feel less like a chore. That's just the way it goes at Bakerganj Gola.
