Prasad Traders

We set up Prasad Traders right here in Nandlal Chhapra, directly across from the Mahindra service center. If you know the New By Pass, you know how busy it gets with all the trucks and cars zooming past all day. Our place isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy building where we keep our stock and handle the daily trade. Most mornings start with us rolling up the shutters and clearing away the dust that blows in from the main road. It is a constant battle with the dirt, but that is just part of being near the bypass. We have a small crew here, mostly guys from around the neighborhood who have been with us for a while now. We don't spend much time on fancy talk or decorating the office. There is a desk near the front where we keep the ledgers and a couple of plastic chairs for anyone who needs to wait a bit. People usually find us because of the Mahindra landmark, which makes things easier since the bypass can be confusing for some. We deal with whatever comes our way, mostly moving goods and talking to drivers. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually have a fan going near the entrance. It’s a simple operation, really. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure things are where they need to be when people show up to collect them.
