Starting at No-7/12 in the Industrial Estate here in Patliputra wasn't exactly what I planned years ago, but it is where we ended up. The steel business is loud and mostly messy, and there is always a layer of dust on everything in the office. People come in and out all day asking about different sections and sheets. It's not a fancy place at all. Most of the guys have been working the machines for a long time and they know the sounds of the factory better than anything else. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside and talk until it comes back on. It is just a normal day-to-day operation where we try to get the orders sorted without too much trouble. Patliputra is a busy area, so getting trucks in and out can be a bit of a headache during the peak hours. We deal with all sorts of people, from big contractors to guys just needing a few bits for a small project. There’s no big corporate vibe here, just a lot of work and some tea breaks in between. The yard gets pretty hot in the summer, but that is just part of it. We keep things simple and don't try to act like something we aren't. It is just Pinax Steel, sitting right here in the industrial block, doing what we do every morning when the gates open up. It isn't always easy, but it's what we know.
