So we are located at Plot No.L 506 in the L Block of Bahadurpur. Nawaaz Lemon Processing India Pvt Ltd. is what it says on the paperwork. Really, it is just a bunch of us working with lemons all day. We have the machines running and the smell of citrus is everywhere. Sometimes it's a bit overwhelming, but you get used to it after a while. Bahadurpur is where we set up. It’s an industrial sort of area, so there’s a lot of trucks and noise. We spend our mornings sorting through the fruit. If the lemons aren't good, we can't use them. It's a lot of manual work even with the machines. We have to keep an eye on everything so nothing breaks down. When a machine stops, everything stops, and that's a headache. We aren't some giant factory with thousands of people. It’s just a dedicated crew in L Block. We keep to ourselves mostly. The weather affects how many lemons we get, so some weeks are much busier than others. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll just see us working in our gear. We’ve been at this plot for a while now. It's steady work and it keeps us busy from morning till evening. It is what it is.
