Our office is on the first floor of Ashiana Plaza, specifically at number 106 on Buddha Marg. It is a busy spot in Patna, especially being right beside the Ashok Cinema Hall. You can usually hear the traffic and the people outside all day long. Inside Nalanda Media Pvt. Ltd., things are often a bit cluttered with papers and files because there is always something being printed or drafted. We have been in this building for a while now, and the hallways are familiar to everyone who works here. The stairs up to the first floor can be a bit steep if you are carrying boxes, but we are used to it. Most of us spend the day on the phones or typing away at the desks. It gets pretty hectic when deadlines are close, and the tea guy comes by a few times a day to keep us going. We do not have much wall space left because of all the calendars and notes we have pinned up over the years. Being near the cinema means there is always a crowd nearby, which makes the area feel alive. Sometimes the fans in the office are a bit loud, but they help with the heat during the summer months. It is just a normal workspace where we try to stay on top of the media business without too much fuss. We just show up, do the work, and head home.
