Government Polytechnic College

This office for the Government Polytechnic College is located in Patna. We are over at Kapil Deo Bhawan on Azad Path. It’s in the Naya Tola area of Saristabad. We are basically using this space care of Manish Kumar. It is not a massive campus building like you might expect. It’s more of a functional office space within a larger house or building. Patna gets very hot in the summer, so we have the coolers running all day. There are always papers being moved from one desk to another. People come in to ask about classes or admissions. We try to keep things moving along even when the paperwork gets heavy. The street outside, Azad Path, can get quite congested with rickshaws and motorbikes. We've been here for a while and most locals know the building. It’s a bit of an older structure. The stairs are narrow. We don't have a big cafeteria or anything, just a small place to sit and work. It's a government-related setup, so there is a certain way things have to be done. We follow the steps and keep the records straight. It’s a lot of manual work and talking to people who stop by. We just do our bit to keep the administrative side of the college running from this spot in Naya Tola. We’re here most days during office hours.
