You can find the Indian Institute Of Health Education & Research on Health Institute Road in the Anisabad area of Patna. We are quite close to the Beru Central Jail, which is the main thing people use to find our street. The road is actually named after the institute, which is kind of nice. We have been here in Patna for a long time. The building is big and has a lot of history to it. It’s not one of those new, shiny glass buildings you see nowadays. It looks like a place where people actually study and do research. There are labs and classrooms and offices scattered all over. It’s a bit of a maze if you’re new, but you get the hang of it. We don't really use a lot of fancy words to talk about ourselves. We are just a group of people interested in health education. Patna is a busy, crowded city, and Anisabad is no different. There’s always something happening outside our gates. Inside, we just try to keep things moving. We have students and researchers coming in and out at all hours. It’s a practical place, focused on the work. We don't have a big PR department. If someone wants to know what we do, they usually just come by and ask or talk to someone who studied here. It’s a long-standing part of the neighborhood here on Health Institute Road.
