We have been here at Malahi Pakri Chowk for quite some time now. Kankarbagh is a busy place, and our spot near S K 6 & 9 usually has a lot of noise from the street. It’s just how it is in Patna. People know us as the place where students come to sit for hours and go through their books. We didn't start with a big plan or anything fancy. A few of us just wanted to teach and we found this space. It’s not a five-star office. There are desks, whiteboards, and fans that sometimes hum too loudly in the summer heat. We spend most of our mornings getting things ready before the first batch walks in. The students come from all over, some walking quite a distance. We talk about the subjects, solve problems, and sometimes we just have tea while discussing how hard the exams are getting these days. It is a simple setup really. Sometimes the lights flicker when the load is high in the neighborhood, but we carry on. We don't spend much on decorations or flashy signs because the work happens inside the classroom. Most days are long and tiring, but seeing the same faces every morning makes it feel like a community. It’s just a group of people trying to learn something new every day in this corner of Patna. Nothing more, nothing less than that.
