Choudhary Steel Febrication

You’ll find our shop at No. 80K, right near the Babu Jagjeevan Ram School in Rajendra Nagar. It’s a local neighborhood, so we have houses on one side and small businesses on the other. We do steel fabrication, which mostly involves a lot of cutting, bending, and welding. You can usually hear the sound of the grinder from down the street when we are working on a big gate or some window grills. It’s a small setup. I started it because I liked working with my hands and steel is a good, solid material to work with. We don’t have any fancy robots or high-tech lasers. It’s just me and a couple of helpers using hand tools and old-fashioned welding machines. The floor is concrete and always has some bits of metal lying around, though we try to clean up every evening. Rajendra Nagar is a good place to be. The kids from the school sometimes peek in to see the sparks flying, but we tell them to stay back for safety. We don’t do much advertising. People in the area just know that if they need some ironwork done, they can come to us. We give them a fair price and tell them honestly how long it will take. Sometimes the rain slows us down because we do some of the bigger pieces outside in the yard, but we manage to get things finished eventually.
