Chanchala Industries

Chanchala Industries has been right here on Station Road in Goriya Toli for quite a while now. Most days it is pretty loud around here because of the trains and the traffic outside our door. We spend most of our time working on the machines and getting orders ready for people who drop by. It is not a fancy place, just a regular shop with a lot of metal and tools lying around. Sometimes the dust gets a bit much, but we just keep at it. People know us because we are easy to find near the station. We start early in the morning, usually around the time the first few tea stalls open up down the street. It is a family thing, mostly. My uncle started it, and now we just handle the daily work. We don't have a big office or anything like that, just a small desk where we keep the books and take calls. Half the time, the phone is ringing while someone is hammering something in the back, so it is hard to hear. We make sure the work gets done, even if it takes a bit longer on some days when the power goes out or a machine acts up. It is just honest work in a busy part of town. Most of our neighbors are doing the same thing. We see the same faces every day, which is nice. It is a crowded area and parking is a nightmare, but we have been here so long we don't think about it anymore. We just keep our heads down and finish the day's tasks.
