Our office is at 249 in Patliputra Colony here in Patna. It’s a residential-turned-business area, so it’s got a bit of a different feel than a downtown office block or a shopping mall. We’ve been here at this address for a good while and the neighbors know us. We deal with sales and distribution, so there’s usually a lot of paperwork and phone calls happening at any given hour. The house we work out of has its quirks, like the old doors and the way the light hits the front room in the morning when we first arrive. We don’t have a big fancy sign outside, just a small one so people can find us if they’re looking for the right house number. It’s a small group of us working here and we’ve become a tight team. We know the local shopkeepers where we get our snacks and supplies. Patna can get pretty busy and loud, but Patliputra Colony stays relatively calm compared to other spots in the city. We spend our days tracking orders and making sure the stock is moving where it needs to go on time. It’s not a flashy business and we don't try to make it seem like one. We just try to stay organized and keep our customers satisfied without making a big deal out of the whole process. We drink a lot of tea and stay on the phones for most of the afternoon. That’s pretty much how a typical day looks for us at number 249. It fits our style.
