Aziz Agroherbs is basically a small operation run out of this space. It’s not a big farm or a warehouse, but it’s where we do all our planning and sorting. Being in an apartment means we have to be organized. We deal with agro-herbs, which take up a fair bit of room when they come in. Patna is a crowded city, so finding a good spot like this in Afzalpur Lane was lucky. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on the computer. It’s not all digging in the dirt; there’s a lot of logistics involved in moving herbs around. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us making sure everything goes where it’s supposed to. Sometimes the apartment gets a bit crowded with samples and paperwork. We just move things around and keep going. It’s a practical way to run a business without too much overhead. We’ve been in this part of Mahendru for a while now. Most people around here know us as the herb folks. It’s a decent living and we like being part of the city life. We just take it one day at a time here.
