We are based out of House Number 63 in Gandi Nagar, which is in the S.K. Puri area of Patna. It’s a regular house that we’ve turned into our workspace. There’s a small gate at the front and a bit of a porch where people sometimes leave their shoes before coming inside. Being in a residential neighborhood like Gandi Nagar means it’s mostly peaceful, though you do hear the usual city sounds from the main roads nearby. Inside, we’ve used the rooms to set up desks and filing systems. The walls are painted a plain color and we have a few ceiling fans to keep the air moving. It’s not the kind of place with glass walls or modern art. We have some old wooden tables that we’ve had for years and they work just fine. Our day usually starts early with a bit of cleaning and then we get right into the administrative work. It’s a small team here, so everyone knows everyone else’s business. We share a small kitchen area where we make tea a couple of times a day. The lighting is okay during the day because of the big windows that let in the sun. We don’t have a big sign outside, just a small one near the door so people know they’ve found the right house. It’s a practical and honest setup. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just focus on the daily tasks and helping the people who come to see us for advice about their future careers.
