Aadula Maa Rice Mills Private Limited is our business. We are situated in the Basanbara panchayat area of Alamnagar block. Specifically, we are at Bhavikshan Singh’s place in the village of Khuranmal. This is in the Madhepura district, 852210. We have a rice mill set up there. It is a lot of work to keep the huskers and the polishers running properly every day. We get bags of paddy from the local farmers around Alamnagar. Then we process it and turn it into rice for selling. The building is quite large because we need space for storage and the machinery. It gets very dusty inside, so we have to wear covers for our hair. Bhavikshan Singh is often at the site making sure things are okay with the building. We don't have a fancy office or any corporate staff here. It’s just us and the guys who lift the heavy bags. The work is physical and tiring for everyone. We start when the sun comes up and we don't stop until the day’s quota is met. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and we just have to sit and wait for it to come back. That's just part of living in Khuranmal. We’ve been running this mill for some time now. We aren't trying to be famous. We just want to provide a service for the farmers nearby. It’s a basic business. We don't use any complicated systems. Just the machines.
