Hair Port

Hair Port is situated over in Mahatma Gandhi Nagar on Kanti Factory Road. If you know the area in Patna, we are right beside the Punjab National Bank. It’s a pretty easy landmark to find. The street gets quite busy with people heading to the bank or just moving through the neighborhood. Inside the shop, things are usually pretty straightforward. We spend most of our time at the chairs with the scissors and combs. It’s not a quiet place because of the road noise outside, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We started this place because we knew the Kanti Factory Road area well. Most of our regulars live nearby in Mahatma Gandhi Nagar or work at the shops around here. We don't have any big slogans or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning, sweep the floor, and wait for the first customer to come in for a haircut. Sometimes we’re chatting about the weather or what’s happening in Patna while we work. The mirrors are old, and the chairs have some wear on them, but they do the job just fine. Being next to the bank means there’s always someone walking by. We just try to do honest work and keep the place going. It’s a small shop, and we like it that way. No fuss, just hair cutting and basic grooming day in and day out.
