Sushilpal

We are located out in Vill-Dheera Jattan, which is a small place near Pathankot in the Gurdaspur district of Punjab. My name is Sushilpal and I run things from here. It’s quite different from working in a big city. The air is better, for one thing, and things move at a much slower pace. Our office is basically just a room in the village where we keep our records and meet people. During the harvest season, everything gets a bit quiet because everyone is out in the fields, but otherwise, we are here most days. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign outside. Most people just know where to find us by asking around at the local post office. We deal with whatever comes our way, mostly helping out people in the nearby area. It’s a simple life. We have a small stove for making tea and some old chairs for visitors. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but they’ve been that color for ten years and nobody seems to mind. We aren't looking to grow into some massive business. We just want to keep doing what we do for the people around here. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. Punjab is a great place to live, and being in a village makes you feel connected to everyone around you. We spend the evenings sitting outside watching the tractors go by. It is a good way to live.
