Our workshop is at plot 333 in the G.I.D.C. Industrial Estate, Phase 2, over on Modhera Road. It is a typical engineering shed like many others in the Dediasan area. We have various machines for fabrication and mechanical repairs. It gets quite hot in here during the summer months because of the metal roof, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. The floor is stained with oil and there are metal scraps in the corners, which is just how an engineering shop looks. We’ve been at this location for a good number of years. We don't have a lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll usually find us in our work clothes busy with a welding torch or a wrench. We take on all kinds of mechanical jobs, from fixing small parts to putting together larger structures. We don't use any fancy marketing language or complicated explanations. We just look at what needs to be fixed and tell you how we can do it. It’s a lot of hard work and we are usually tired by the end of the shift, but we take pride in getting the dimensions right. Modhera Road is always busy with traffic, but once you get inside the estate, it’s just the sound of tools and machines. We just stay focused on the work at hand and try to keep our customers satisfied.
