Vijay Engineering Company

Vijay Engineering Company is located at 142 in the G.I.D.C.-1 Estate, right near the highway. It’s a convenient spot because it’s easy for people to find us when they’re driving through. We have been here for a long time. The workshop is basically a large room filled with lathes, milling machines, and stacks of raw steel. It’s not the cleanest place, but that is just how engineering shops are. There is always a bit of oil on the floor and the smell of cutting fluid in the air. We don’t have a big sales team or a fancy office. If you call, one of us will just pick up the phone from the workshop floor. We mostly do repairs and make custom parts for other small businesses in the estate. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole day fixing them instead of working on orders. That can be frustrating, but it’s part of the job. We don’t use any polished language or corporate talk here. We just tell it like it is. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years. We like the highway area because everything is accessible. It gets pretty loud with the traffic and the machines, but we’re used to it. We just focus on the work at hand and try to stay busy.
