You will find our engineering shop at 38, G.I.D.C., Phase-II, in Dediyasan. This is an industrial area, so there is always a lot of heavy lifting and noise from the other units nearby. We have a good amount of space here to house our engineering equipment. We have some lathes, milling machines, and welding sets that we use every day. It’s not a clean environment by any means. There’s always a bit of iron dust and the smell of cutting oil. We wear heavy boots and rugged clothes because the work demands it. We’ve been operating out of this G.I.D.C. plot for quite some time now. We like the fact that everything we need is close by. If we need a specific type of steel or a new tool, there’s usually a supplier just a few blocks away. The building itself is a standard industrial shed with a high roof. It gets pretty loud when we are working on a large piece of metal, but that’s just how engineering goes. We don't have a big front office with a receptionist. Most of the time, we are out on the floor getting our hands dirty. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We just focus on the project in front of us and try to make sure everything is built to the right size and shape. It’s hard work, but we’ve been doing it for years and it’s what we know best.
