Madhav Engineering Works

Madhav Engineering Works is tucked away in Phase-II of the GIDC Estate. We've been at number 100 for quite some years. It's a loud place with machines running most of the time. We do metal work and machining. It's not a clean office job. We get grease on our hands and the floor is usually covered in metal shavings. We work with local factories mostly. They need a part made or something fixed, they call us. We aren't a massive corporation with a board of directors. It's just a bunch of guys who know how to use a lathe and a welding torch. We take our time with the measurements because if it's off by a hair, the whole thing is ruined. Sometimes the weather gets really hot in the shed, but we keep moving. We've got some old machines that still work better than the new ones. It’s honest work. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most people find us by word of mouth or just by driving through the estate. If you need something fabricated, we usually have the materials sitting in the back. We just get on with it. It’s noisy and busy, and the fans never seem to push enough air, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. That is basically what goes on here every day. We just focus on the metal and the machines. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a big batch of bolts or frames, but that is just part of the life here.
