Better Engineers

Better Engineers is located over at 237/Gidc, Phase-2 in Dediyasan, right off Modhera Road. Being in the GIDC area means it’s always busy with trucks, noise, and other workshops. Our place is basically a big industrial shed with some office space carved out in the corner. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially when the machines have been running for hours on end. We do a lot of mechanical work and fabrication here. There’s always the sound of welding or metal being cut in the background. It’s not the cleanest environment, but that’s engineering for you. We have drawings spread out on every available flat surface, and there’s usually a thin layer of iron filings on the floor. We’ve been at this for a good few years now, and we’ve learned a lot about what works and what doesn't. The commute along Modhera Road can be a bit of a slog with the traffic, but we’re used to it. We don’t have a big sales team or anything like that. People usually come to us because they heard we can handle a specific job or they’ve worked with us before. It’s practical, hands-on work. We drink a lot of water to stay cool and try to get the orders out on time, even when the power fluctuates. We just focus on the job in front of us and try to make things that actually work properly.
