Project Engineer

At 8/Jigar Flat on Jail Road in Mehsana, we run our Project Engineer operations in a way that fits the local pace. Mehsana has its own rhythm, and being based in a flat rather than a big glass office building makes the work feel more grounded. Jail Road is a familiar landmark for everyone around here, and it's easy enough to find us. The flat is filled with drafting tools and site maps, and the kitchen table often ends up covered in technical manuals. It’s a practical workspace where we spend hours debating how to solve a specific engineering hurdle on one of our sites. Gujarat summers are no joke, so we do a lot of our thinking in the early hours before the heat really sets in. We don't go for the fancy presentations or the big-city corporate vibe. We just show up, look at the site, and figure out the best way to get things built. A lot of our time is spent talking to suppliers and making sure the right grade of steel or cement arrives on time. It is a lot of coordination and checking things twice. People in the building know us as the engineers who are always coming and going with boots on. We like being part of the local fabric here in Mehsana, doing work that actually stays visible in the community for years after we finish a job.
