Parekh Engineers

Operating out of Plot No. 223/b in Phase-1 of the Gidc, we keep things pretty small and manageable. Our shop is just one unit among many, but we have been here long enough that the neighbors all know us. We focus on mechanical parts and small-scale engineering jobs. Most of our equipment is manual, so you need a good eye and a steady hand to get things right. The air in here is always thick with the smell of cutting oil. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you want to see what we do, you just have to come onto the floor and look at what is currently on the lathe. Sometimes we stay late when a customer needs a part urgently to get their own factory running again. Those are long nights, but that is the nature of this business. We have a small table in the corner where we eat our lunch together. It is a simple life. We don't spend money on things we don't need, preferring to just keep our machines in good shape. Every part we make gets checked with a caliper before it leaves the door. We aren't doing anything revolutionary. We are just making sure the metal is cut to the right size and that the customer gets what they asked for without any delay.
