Ashirwad Pulses is out at Plot No-B/18 in the MIDC area. We are right near the President Hotel, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. Being in the industrial zone means there are always big trucks moving around and a lot of noise from the neighboring factories. Our warehouse is where we spend the bulk of our time. It’s a large, open space filled with stacks of pulse bags reaching up toward the ceiling. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure everything is stored properly so it stays dry. The heat in the MIDC can be tough in the summer months, especially under the tin roof. We usually have a fan going, but it doesn't do much. It’s a lot of loading and unloading, which keeps us in decent shape. We don't have any fancy signage, just the number on the gate. Most of our work is behind the scenes, getting the pulses ready for the markets and wholesalers. It’s a rugged environment, and we’re often covered in dust by the time five o'clock rolls around. We’ve been operating from this plot for several years, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the industrial estate. It’s just honest work, day in and day out, making sure the bags are filled and the trucks are loaded. Sometimes the gate squeaks in the wind, but we just keep working.
