Suresh Pulse Mill

Suresh Pulse Mill is tucked away right behind the Old Rest House. It’s a bit of an older part of town, but everyone around here knows where it is. We spend most of our time processing pulses, which involves a lot of noise and dust from the milling machines. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, but it’s what we do. The mill stays busy during the harvest seasons when the trucks come in loaded with raw goods. We have a small crew, mostly local guys who have been working these machines for years. The building itself has seen better days, but the equipment inside works just fine. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone covered in a bit of flour or dust. We handle everything from cleaning the pulses to bagging them up. It’s steady work and keeps us occupied from morning until evening. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside the rest house and wait for it to come back on. We don't really bother with websites or big signs. People know the work we do just by seeing the bags go out. It’s just a regular mill trying to provide for the local market and keep things running smoothly. The floor is always covered in a light layer of grain dust, no matter how much we sweep.
