This office is tucked away in Velaria Apartments, right near the Dias Building up on Mangor Hill. If you know Vasco, you know the climb up here can be a bit much when it's humid. We work as a sister concern for Hbl Global, mainly focusing on the personal side of things for HDFC Bank. It gets pretty loud in here with all the talking and the phones ringing constantly. We aren't a big fancy corporate branch with marble floors; we are just a group of people working at desks in an apartment-style setup. There are always files everywhere and the smell of coffee is pretty strong in the mornings. Being in Mangor Hill means we get a mix of people coming in from the port area and the nearby neighborhoods. We spend our days checking documents, verifying addresses, and trying to meet the targets set for us. It’s a lot of numbers and signatures. Sometimes the internet is slow and we all just sit there waiting, which gives us a chance to chat about the local football scores. We’ve been at this location for a while now, so the locals know where to find us. It’s just regular work, nothing special, just making sure the loan processes don't get stuck. We head out when the sun starts going down, usually tired but ready to do it again tomorrow.
