Licof India is located right in the Madhuban Housing Complex over in Tonca. Our specific spot is in Bldg D/9, which is a pretty quiet area most days here in Panaji. Working out of a housing complex gives the whole place a different feel than a standard office building in the middle of a city. It is a bit more relaxed, and we see the same neighbors every day when we come in. Goa has a certain pace to it, and we definitely feel that here. Our space is filled with files and the usual office stuff you would expect. There are five of us who handle the daily tasks, and we have been in this location for a good amount of time. The sun gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going constantly. We do not spend money on flashy decorations or expensive furniture because we do not really need it for what we do. It is just a practical place to work. Sometimes we walk down the road to get lunch or just to stretch our legs. The building is older but it is sturdy and suits our needs just fine. We just focus on keeping our records straight and answering the phone when it rings. It is a straightforward way to earn a living, and we like being part of the local community in this part of Goa.
