V-Ventures

You can find us at House Number 1259 in Jambhul-Bhat, which is in the Mayem area of Bicholim. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but it’s a nice part of Goa. We aren’t near the tourist beaches, so it’s much more relaxed. We started V-Ventures as a way to handle local projects and some business stuff around the district. The office is basically a part of the house, so it feels very homey. There’s usually a dog sleeping near the door and plenty of trees outside. We don’t have a big staff, just a few local people who know how things work in this part of the state. We do various things, mostly helping out with local needs and small-scale operations. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people in suits. We wear what’s comfortable and get on with the day’s tasks. Sometimes we spend the whole morning just sorting out paperwork or meeting with neighbors about a new project. Life moves at a different pace in Bicholim. We like it that way. It gives us time to actually talk to people instead of just sending emails. The road gets a bit muddy when it rains, but that’s just how it is. We’ve been here for a long time and plan to stay. It’s just us doing what we can with what we have, without any big corporate talk or fancy offices.
