Allied Exports

We’re over at O- 2 Industrial Area, operating under the name Allied Exports. It’s an old-school industrial zone, and our building fits right in. It’s a bit weathered on the outside, but it’s solid. Inside, it’s mostly warehouse space with high ceilings and rows of shelves. We have a tiny office area where we keep the records. It’s usually cluttered with ledgers and old invoices. We don’t really go for the modern look. The chairs are mismatched, and the clock on the wall has been five minutes fast for years. It’s a place where work actually happens, so we don’t mind a bit of dirt on the floor. Most of our days are spent checking inventory and talking to drivers. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t have a marketing department or a PR person. We just have a handful of people who know how to get things done. The neighborhood is full of similar businesses, so there’s always a lot of activity on the street. It can be a bit chaotic during peak hours, but we’re used to it. We take our tea breaks together and complain about the heat or the price of fuel. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time. It isn't perfect, but it works for us and the people we deal with every day. We just keep our heads down and finish the work.
