You can find us in Guru Nanak Market on Ambala Road. We are quite close to the Sharda Nagar Pul, the big bridge there. Being in a market area means there is always something going on outside. People are always walking by or parking their scooters. Our shop isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit all the essential engineering gear inside. It’s an older building, and you can tell by looking at the walls. Nobody here really minds. It’s got a bit of character. We do a lot of small engineering jobs for people in the neighborhood and some bigger ones for folks coming off Ambala Road. The smell of the market—food and exhaust—mixes with the metallic smell of our work. Usually, the front shutters stay open to let the air circulate. It can get quite dusty from the road traffic. There is a small bench where we sit during lunch. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is the highlight for most of us. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around, just a reliable place where you can get things fixed or machined properly. The bridge nearby is a good landmark if someone gets lost. We’ve been here at Guru Nanak Market for years and the locals know us well.
