Shanti Selections

We are over at 35 Baisi Bazar. It is a good spot right in the middle of the market action. Shanti Selections is where we keep all our different fabrics and readymade clothes. Baisi Bazar is always full of life, and our shop is no different. We spend most of our mornings unpacking new bundles and making sure the displays look decent enough for people walking by. It is a family-run business, so you will usually see one of us behind the counter or helping a customer decide between two different colors. We don't have a big philosophy or anything. We just sell clothes that people like to wear. The shop is a bit small, so we have to stack things pretty high up on the shelves. Sometimes it takes us a minute to find the right size if it is buried at the bottom of a pile. People come to us because they know they can get a fair deal without a lot of fuss. We have been at this location for quite a few years now, and we have seen the bazaar change a lot. But we stay pretty much the same. We open the shutters in the morning, sweep the floor, and wait for the first customers to arrive. It is steady work and we enjoy being part of the local community here in the market. We are just ordinary folks selling clothes and helping our neighbors get dressed for their special occasions.
