Mahendra Parihar

Mahendra Parihar is based out of Bali, over in Azad Basti. It’s a place where everyone kind of knows everyone else. We don’t have a big fancy office with a receptionist. Most of the time, you’ll just find us working in the middle of whatever needs to get done. We’ve been here in Azad Basti for quite some time. It’s a modest setup, but it’s ours. We don’t do any of that corporate stuff where everything is polished and fake. We just talk to people like they are people. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty or the papers aren’t in perfect stacks, but the work is what matters. People in Bali are hardworking, and we try to match that. We don’t have a website with a lot of promises on it. We just have our name and this location. Word of mouth is how we’ve stayed open all these years. It’s about being consistent. You show up in the morning, stay until the work is finished, and try to be fair to everyone. Some days are slow and we sit and chat with the neighbors, other days we are running around trying to catch up. That’s just the way a small business works. We like it here in Azad Basti. It feels like home, and we plan on staying for a long time. Nothing fancy, just us doing our thing and helping out where we can.
